More than meets the eye: Obama’s Approval Rating On Key Issues

This week, Zogby International published the latest approval data for president Barack Obama. Obama’s approval rating continues to hold in the high forties. On specific issues things do not look so great, in may cases mirroring ratings seen during president Bush during his second term in office.

Today, I thought I’d explore the issues data a little deeper – specifically, what are the odds that two citizens will both agree on Obama’s performance, either approving, or disapproving, and what are the odds that those two citizens will not agree?

More often than not, two citizens will agree that Obama's performance on key issues has been poor.

The odds are, folks are going to have a low opinion of our current president, and more folks will likely disagree about his performance than both approve.
