10 days before elections, Palin’s style still dominant issue

We all know full well that Caribou Barbie didn’t actually go shopping at Neiman Marcus, et al. Undoubtedly she was assigned a fashion consultant who had her try on a slew of outfits from which the governor then selected a couple hundred thousand dollars worth.

Politicians have long been chided for $400 haircuts and pricey botox injections. Gluttonous consumption is no less present in politics than it is in regular American life. And as this phenomenon is present on both sides of the aisle, what’s the point of singling out the only female running for executive office.

For another crappy media outlet to excrete derision on a woman in the public eye because she spent too much campaign money on clothing is hardly news, nor is it fair. How much does Fox spend on primping for the cameras?
