McCain champions early intervention
Today, Friday September 19, in a speech in Wisconsin, John McCain outlined his vision for solving our economic woes: a new oversight agency. Yes, friends, more regulation. McCain wants this new agency to identify weak institutions and then find ways to patch them up.
The Bruce isn’t entirely sure how to feel about this entire situation, including McCain’s solution. On the one hand, I can see the merit in floating loans to institutions which, if at this point crashed could lead to udder economic chaos. On the other hand, I am against government tampering with our economy..
Although it would apear that McCain identified and had a solution for our current crisis some time ago.
