Winehouse a biological weapon, sources say
THIS WEEK we learn that British singer Amy Winehouse has an infected face.
She was diagnosed with a skin condition called impetigo, which is a highly contageous bacterial infection that forms lesions, then pustules, then thick crust.
I can’t help but wonder if being doped out one’s gourd and falling face down in one’s vomit causes this condition. But then I remember that no one cares much about Winehouse’s looks. Apparently not even Winehouse. The 5 Grammy awards she won last month weren’t because folks admire her nice skin and healthy lifestyle, that much is certain.
Not surprisingly, the treatment of choice for impetigo is drugs.
AND in related news, British singer Amy Winehouse is reportedly launching a new line of beauty products to help women achieve a similar look and style.

Right you are. As recently as last week news sources reported that Winehouse was moving forward with plans to launch new beauty products and clothing lines.
this is too ironic.
As an additional note – and under risk of tarrying too long on the subject – Winehouse also placed second on a list of the Ten Worst Dressed Women compiled by an ostensibly knowledgeable guy called Mr. Blackwell .
Her voice, though, floors me. Her phenominal singing ability seems to at least offset the otherwise negative perception of her character that General Public harbours. In a way I think people are awed by an example of a beautifully talented self-destroyer.
